Avion Systems of Fort Lauderdale, Fl. is pleased to announce that it has recently completed a large inventory acquisition of Factory New Boeing spare parts (expendables), including but not limited to expendable parts for B787, B737NG, B777 and other aircraft fleets, with a catalogue list price value in excess of $130m.
The acquisition positions Avion Systems as one of the leading suppliers of new parts for Boeing platforms, particularly the B787 family. This enables Avion to increase distribution to both its domestic and international client base of MROs, Airlines and trading partners.
Ron Sever, CEO of Avion Systems commented “this portfolio of inventory for new and current generation Boeing aircraft allows us to penetrate new markets segments of Tier 1 and Tier 2 operators and MROs who are typically serviced by OEMs. We expect this to be the first of many acquisitions in order to expand our offering to these market segments”.
